Preparing the supports
Before hanging your wallpaper, it is first necessary to prepare your wall. Sand it with the appropriate sandpaper grain.
Cutting
Measure the height to be wallpapered and add 10 cm for the top and bottom ends of the room. Unroll a roll on the table and mark the length just calculated.
Fold the paper over itself and mark the fold.
Cut the strip with scissors. It can also be cut with a cutter and a ruler.
Stack the strips on the table and number each strip at the top in the order in which it was laid.
Glueing
Place the strips on the table with the patterns underneath. Using the brush, glue a good half of the strip, from the centre to the edges. Insist on the edges. Fold the glued part over itself without crushing the fold. Then do the same for the other half of the strip, from the centre to the edges. Insist on the edges. Fold the glued part over itself without crushing the formed fold. Then do the same for the other half. Allow the sheet to soak for 5 to 10 minutes.
The installation
Press down with a wallpaper brush, working from the inside to the outside to expel the air. Check from a distance that the strip is well positioned. Unfold the entire height, respecting the line. Stamp the entire surface, then remove the excess glue with a wet sponge and run the upholstery roller along the edges of the strips to glue them perfectly. Repeat the operation for all the following strips.
